Wisconsin football has always been close to my heart. The Badgers football program has produced a number of amazing football players in its history. Today, let’s look at some of the greatest leaders with this list of the Badgers’ best quarterbacks. Darrell Bevell: Fans believe Darrell Bevell is the best QB in Badgers’ history because stats don’t lie. He leads the team in all-time passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completions. In 1993, he led the team to a 10-1-1 record – good enough to make them co-champions with the Big Ten. Image source : 247sports.com Scott Tolzien: 2009 was a stellar year for Scott Tolzien. He started in all games and helped the team to a 9-3 record. He also won a Champs Sports Bowl and holds the Badgers’ record of 211 completions. Brooks Bollinger: The ‘90s ended on a high note for the Badgers with the emergence of Brooks Bollinger. He was at the center of the most successful Badger era, winning the Rose Bowl in 2000. He also never lost in three bowl games. Image source : 247sports.com Russell Wilson: The problem with Russell Wilson was that he only played a single season with the Badgers. But what a season it was. The team ended with an 11-3 record, a Big Ten Championship, and a Rose Bowl appearance. Had he stayed longer, he would’ve been a consensus pick for GOAT Badger.
